L'homme qui fait des arbres

These beautiful handmade sculptures are created by Montreal artist, Paul-Andre Leblanc. Leblanc makes these incredibly detailed trees using one of earth's natural elements and recycled copper wire. The trees he creates are miniature replicas (some say exact) of trees that he has found particularly interesting or have a lot of meaning. Every branch, and every tree is unique. The trees are all mounted on found rock.

"A naked tree, sleeping, anchored on a rock and the illusion is nearly perfect.
One thinks of Japanese gardens, the bonsai.
You imagine the sap circulating, you observe the trunks with their youthful whims, or their wrinkles of age."
(-Paul-Andre Leblanc -bio)
These trees are even more fascinating in person and were happy to have several! Come check them out here at Artists Walk and see our collection of these unique awe dropping pieces. Perfect for any nature lover or any one who doesn't have a green thumb but would love some natural elements in their home!
